Director, Quality Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with product and engineering objectives.

• Build, expand, and manage a global QA team, consisting of both onshore and offshore members.

• Set up KPIs, metrics, and reporting processes to evaluate software quality and team performance.

• Design and supervise robust automated testing frameworks that include UI, API, performance, and regression testing.

• Ensure that comprehensive performance/load testing strategies are established for high-traffic SaaS environments.

• Oversee and enhance CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous deployment.

• Utilize AWS, Azure/OCI, or GCP services for scaling the testing infrastructure.

• Assess and incorporate AI-driven QA tools to improve testing accuracy, coverage, and efficiency.

• Collaborate with Regulatory and Security teams to ensure compliance with requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Principal Applications Developer, Lead Architect, Sr. QA Engineer, Product Test Engineer, Network Administrator, or a similar role.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership capacity.

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms in regulated sectors, including healthcare and life sciences.

• Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, Testim, Functionize, Mabl, Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Understanding of healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA and HITECH/HITRUST.
