Materials Quality Engineer – Value Stream Warehouses

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive implementation of the BiQ Playbook within warehouse operations.

• Convert strategic quality requirements into explicit, actionable standard procedures for logistics and inventory teams to maintain process uniformity.

• Direct the rollout of the 15 essential components of the BiQ Playbook across all designated warehouses.

• Perform regular quality audits to ensure adherence to internal standards and the BiQ framework.

• Set up and supervise vital Quality Gates within the material flow.

• Handle the triage and investigation of Non-Conformances (NCRs) within the designated value streams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional warehouse teams to minimize scrap and rework.

• Serve as a technical quality mentor on the shop floor.

• Evaluate quality trends and performance metrics to pinpoint systemic risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted.

• Demonstrated experience in a quality or operations-centered position within a manufacturing or logistics environment.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, RCA, 5-Why).

• Familiarity with ERP systems and warehouse management software.

• Capability to simplify complex quality requirements into straightforward, actionable process instructions.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• In-depth understanding of quality systems, Lean principles, corrective action protocols, and nonconformance management.
