QA Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the team and clients to gather project requirements and translate them into clear, testable scenarios.

• Create testing strategies and test plans for both server-side and web applications.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and aid in validating newly developed features and integrations.

• Document detailed, reproducible defect reports and supply relevant data for test reporting.

• Diagnose issues and provide comprehensive debug information to facilitate swift resolution.

• Confirm fixes and ensure that functionality operates as intended following changes.

• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance test case design, generate test data, and analyze outcomes.

• Utilize AI assistants for research, documentation drafting, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Identify patterns and actionable insights from test and defect data through AI-assisted analysis.

• Partner with developers, business analysts, and system engineers.

• Relay testing progress, risks, and results to the team and stakeholders.

• Foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, testing methodologies, and testing tools.

• Experience in crafting detailed test cases and reporting defects comprehensively.

• Capability to troubleshoot and provide thorough debug information for expedited issue resolution.

• Interest in test automation for server-side and web applications.

• Comfortable utilizing AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar technologies.

• Basic knowledge of how large language models (LLMs) function and their practical constraints.

• Proficiency in writing clear and effective prompts to obtain useful outputs from AI tools.

• Understanding of AI ethics, data privacy issues, and responsible AI usage in a professional environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• A collaborative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused approach.

• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to quickly learn new tools and technologies.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM integrations is advantageous.
