QA Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Moldova, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites across API (using REST Assured), web UI (utilizing Selenide), and mobile (through Appium) platforms.

• Execute manual testing as needed, which includes mobile-specific scenarios such as responsiveness, permissions, operating system/version coverage, and lifecycle testing.

• Review application logs to pinpoint, localize, and assist in troubleshooting defects.

• Advocate for and uphold testing principles within the designated development team and enhance its quality assurance culture.

• Participate in accessibility (A11Y) testing initiatives where relevant.

• Carry out performance/load testing with JMeter and provide optimization suggestions based on the findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in manual testing.

• Capability to interpret API specifications/documentation, independently create test collections, and test services using standard tools like Postman, Insomnia, or SoapUI.

• Skill in reading logs and independently identifying or localizing defects.

• Familiarity with mobile testing aspects: responsiveness, permissions management, coverage of screen size/OS versions, and application lifecycle testing.

• Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java.

• Proven experience in creating test automation frameworks from the ground up.

• Ability to write clean, reusable code.

• Familiar with JUnit, TestNG, and Maven/Gradle.

• Experience with REST Assured for automated REST API testing.

• Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and authentication processes.

• Proficient in writing and parameterizing complex API test cases and integrating them with JUnit/TestNG.

• Experience using Selenide for automated web UI testing.

• Knowledge of the Page Object Model.

• Ability to create stable and maintainable tests for dynamic interfaces and integrate them with JUnit/TestNG.

• Experience with Appium for automated testing on Android/iOS platforms.

• Familiarity with emulators/simulators, native and hybrid app testing, and CI/CD integration.

• Knowledge of A11Y testing and awareness of WCAG Level A is a plus.

• Practical experience with TalkBack, VoiceOver, NVDA, or JAWS is an advantage.

• JMeter performance/load testing experience is a plus, including working with Thread Group, Sampler, Listener, and Assertion components, API/database/web load testing, results analysis, and optimization recommendations.
