QA Engineering Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Institutionalize the Quality Maturity Model (QMM).

• Ensure quality is enforceable in the delivery process by implementing CI/CD quality gates.

• Facilitate the safe reuse of APIs (building blocks) by squads aligned with the Platform team.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD gates with defined minimum criteria, progressive evolution, and the authority to halt deployments when criteria are not satisfied.

• Develop a quality strategy for reusable APIs, encompassing contracts, compatibility, regression, performance, versioning, and consumer safety.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with the Quality Maturity Model (QMM).

• Experience in developing and implementing Quality Control Models: creating and utilizing models and tools for quality assurance.

• Proficiency in test planning and execution: devising testing strategies, formulating test plans and scenarios, and executing functional, performance, regression, and additional tests.

• Expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks: demonstrated capability in testing and ensuring the quality of IT solutions, including Rest Assured, Cucumber, Cypress, JMeter, and Bruno for end-to-end (E2E) testing of web applications.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices: proficiency with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins, including configuring pipelines that integrate automated testing stages.
