QA Engineer – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Encourage team members to propose innovative ideas and ensure their implementation.

• Offer coaching and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their contributions.

• Provide after-hours assistance when required for incidents.

• Oversee testing efforts in collaboration with all relevant parties, such as business stakeholders and other IT teams.

• Take part in Performance Feedback processes.

• Engage in technical analysis and design review meetings.

• Facilitate bug and metric review discussions for the stream.

• Participate in and contribute to test coverage assessments.

• Manage the team's regression activities and take ownership of status reporting.

• Lead the full delivery of large projects with minimal supervision.

• Adapt to various test automation technologies and spearhead proof of concept projects.

• Mentor junior team members on test automation implementation and share best practices.

• Contribute to the overall architecture of the automation framework and seek opportunities for process enhancements.

• Strive to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in test automation while aiding the development of fellow team members.

• Conduct regular peer reviews and approve source control pull requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of substantial experience in application QA/Testing.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing automated tests using C#.Net, Java, Selenium/Provar.

• Background in both Test Automation and Manual Testing.

• Experience in functional and enterprise-level system testing, along with a strong eagerness to learn automated testing tools such as Selenium or Provar.

• Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Capability to ensure accountability and communicate effectively with diverse teams.

• Proven history of driving results and fostering engagement while supporting team goals.

• Experience with Salesforce.

• Familiarity with the Provar Automation tool.

• Experience with CICD pipelining for deployment (Bamboo, Jira, Git, Atlassian).
