QA Engineer – .NET Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• The QA expert functions as a QA engineer while possessing extensive knowledge in team strategy.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance professionals to ensure that the teams are implementing adequate testing coverage throughout each phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Serve as a mentor and actively engage in coaching activities.

• Develop consistent and efficient tests, delivering them punctually.

• Collaborate with multiple independent agile software development teams to guarantee that products align with user expectations.

• Be the expert, coach, and mentor that guides those teams in taking ownership and establishing best practices for quality control.

• Implement processes alongside the team, setting priorities and providing coaching.

• Assist teams in defining quality metrics, classifying defects, identifying problem areas, and enhancing team efficiency.

• Ensure that teams utilize appropriate testing methods and have code coverage through automated tests to minimize defects.

• Work with product owners to outline requirements that fulfill quality standards.

• Assess new test management tools and techniques.

• Support HR in the recruitment process as a technical reference.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in a similar role (QA Engineer, QA Automation).

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• Significant experience in Software Development teams and familiarity with QA tools and methodologies.

• Proficiency with automated testing tools.

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and scripting (C# .NET).

• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry.

• Strong knowledge of Apache Pulsar.

• Comprehensive understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Flexibility to collaborate with departments across different time zones.

• Upper intermediate proficiency in English and Spanish.

• ISTQB Certification (Bonus points).
