QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing, Playwright

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing for web applications, APIs, and e-commerce platforms.

• Design, maintain, and execute automated test scripts utilizing Playwright.

• Generate and uphold test documentation, test strategies, and test scenarios.

• Carry out functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Detect, document, and monitor software defects, assisting developers in resolving issues.

• Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to guarantee high product quality.

• Assist in release validation and smoke testing efforts.

• Continuously enhance QA methodologies, testing standards, and automation coverage.

• Engage in CI/CD and quality assurance process advancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, encompassing both manual and automated testing.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.

• Familiarity with contemporary web applications, APIs, and browser technologies.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and test management tools is beneficial.

• Excellent analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• Organized, self-directed, and solution-focused work ethic.

• Strong communication skills and the capability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Experience with e-commerce projects or SaaS products is an advantage.

• Proficiency at least at a C1 level in either written and spoken German or English.
