This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Oversee both exploratory and automated testing to guarantee product excellence.
• Create and execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and outline corrective measures.
• Assess system requirements and monitor quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and unresolved defect counts).
• Supervise all phases of software development to detect and rectify system anomalies.
• Develop thorough, well-documented test plans and test cases.
• Evaluate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide constructive feedback.
• Organize and coordinate testing initiatives, meticulously identifying and documenting defects.
• Construct and run automation scripts utilizing open-source tools.
• Manage testing processes for both new and existing products to satisfy client expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ascertain system requirements.
• Monitor quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and unresolved defect counts.
• Investigate the reasons behind non-conforming software and educate users on implementing solutions.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of new testing tools and methodologies.
• Investigate ways in which Artificial Intelligence can improve product functionalities or internal processes.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable role (QA Engineer, QA Automation).
• Familiarity with the technical architecture of systems for white box testing purposes.
• General experience in Test Planning, Analysis, and Design following best practices.
• Proficiency in testing management tools such as Jira/Xray and Jira/Zephyr.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and lifecycle.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, or similar) for web or API testing automation.
• Knowledge of automation design patterns to develop scalable frameworks/projects.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Practical experience using GenAI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) in actual testing and delivery tasks, beyond casual experimentation.
• Interest in how AI-assisted methods are transforming quality engineering, with a readiness to adapt your practices accordingly.
• Proficiency in technical English related to the Testing and Development lifecycle.
• Experience with AI-based tools aimed at enhancing testing efficiency.
• B2 proficiency in Spanish and English.
