QA Engineer – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Creating and implementing comprehensive manual test cases and scenarios to guarantee exceptional product quality

• Conducting functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing to confirm features and user workflows

• Detecting, documenting, and reporting clear, actionable bugs along with reproduction steps and supportive evidence

• Collaborating closely with development and product teams to clarify requirements and validate fixes

• Confirming bug fixes and new features prior to release through meticulous manual testing

• Maintaining test documentation, quality metrics, and user-friendly reporting dashboards

• Aiding in the prioritization of critical bugs for prompt resolution

• Contributing to automation initiatives by offering insights on test coverage and validating automated test outcomes

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in manual testing for web, mobile, and API applications.

• Proficient in exploratory testing to creatively identify edge cases, usability challenges, and unexpected product behavior.

• Skilled in designing and executing various manual test types, including functional, regression, usability, integration, and API testing.

• Familiar with CI/CD principles and comfortable adjusting pipeline configurations in YAML

• View flaky tests as personal challenges and possess proven strategies to eliminate them

• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Passionate about documenting edge cases and thinking like an inquisitive end user
