QA Engineer – EPIC, Cerner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement both manual and automated testing procedures.

• Validate integrations within EPIC/Cerner systems, including interfaces, clinical workflows, and data exchanges.

• Work in collaboration with developers, clinical analysts, and various stakeholders across functions.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects until they are resolved.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA.

• Conduct regression testing, provide UAT support, and perform post-release validations.

• Analyze functional and technical requirements to guarantee sufficient test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience as a QA Engineer, ideally in the healthcare IT sector.

• Practical experience with EPIC and/or Cerner systems.

• Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, TestRail, and JIRA.

• Proficiency in SQL for validating data.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks.

• Understanding of healthcare data standards, including HL7 and FHIR.

• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1) is required.

• Must have experience working with U.S. clients.
