QA Engineer – Automation, Manual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement both manual and automated test cases for sophisticated eGovernment software systems;

• Create test plans, test cases, and reports while ensuring requirement traceability;

• Utilize tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, and JMeter to construct and maintain automated test suites;

• Work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and system engineers to guarantee software quality;

• Engage in integration and performance testing of highly technical systems;

• Identify, log, and monitor bugs, collaborating with the team to ensure prompt resolution;

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering;

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal;

• Academic or professional experience in software testing (both manual and automated);

• Solid understanding of test design techniques and the software development lifecycle;

• Practical experience with one or more of the following tools is an advantage: Selenium, SoapUI, and JMeter;

• Familiarity with JIRA software and management of the complete testing cycle;

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Groovy, or Python) for automation is a plus;

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail;

• Strong communication abilities and a capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
