This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Conduct software testing across various platforms, including web and mobile applications, customer billing systems, back-end databases, email delivery systems, and security frameworks.
• Execute QA activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure adherence to established processes.
• Actively engage in the project lifecycle, from requirement reviews to release and post-launch assistance.
• Develop and implement thorough test plans and test cases, documenting and tracking issues until resolution.
• Perform functional, system integration, regression, user acceptance, and production deployment testing.
• Reproduce bugs found in production and validate fixes.
• Work closely with all departments to guarantee complete test coverage.
• Provide precise and timely estimates for QA timelines and efforts.
• Establish and refine formal QA processes using best practices recognized within the industry.
• Oversee all facets of quality assurance, including setting metrics, applying industry best practices, and creating new tools and processes to meet quality objectives.
• Adapt to the SCRUM software development methodology by participating in Sprint planning, reviews, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent software engineering QA experience is essential.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases, basic SQL programming, and Git version control is advantageous.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and client-server architectures.
• Proficiency with bug tracking software.
• Background in agile development environments.
• Experience with unit testing (Java, Python, JavaScript, C, etc.).
• Knowledge of web UI testing.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Must possess a goal-oriented and detail-focused mindset.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and handling multiple projects simultaneously; strong multitasking skills.
