QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing on the Android and iOS bench applications using a variety of actual devices.

• Evaluate the admin console, including device management, runtime settings, model catalog, and the process of releasing a new model without necessitating an app update.

• Ensure that telemetry and logs are not only present but also accurate—verifying that the correct events and values correspond with the actual occurrences on the device.

• Perform sanity checks on benchmark results (tokens/sec, thermal performance, battery impact) to confirm their plausibility and identify any discrepancies before they are reported.

• Test yonc.chat (the web chat application) for model selection, response rendering, and chat behavior across different browsers.

• Document bugs and data quality issues in a manner that is clear enough for engineers to address without requiring follow-up discussions.

• Develop test automation for aspects that are suitable for automation, prioritizing areas where manual re-testing is the most repetitive.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in manual QA for mobile applications (both Android and iOS).

• Proficient in reading structured logs and telemetry, with the ability to evaluate data accuracy—not just whether the application has crashed.

• Sufficient numerical skills to perform sanity checks on performance and benchmark data, and to identify results that appear incorrect.

• Background in testing admin or back-office tools, including configuration changes, CRUD processes, and actions sensitive to permissions.

• Ability to report bugs clearly and precisely.
