Seasonal Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Ensure that both software and hardware implementations are operational and align with documented or intended performance.

• Engage at the initial stages of the design process to develop use cases that inform product development.

• Assess requirements to ensure tax accuracy.

• Prepare and/or evaluate requirements, workflows, and user interface designs for product features and enhancements.

• Develop test plans, test cases, use cases, and test strategy documentation.

• Generate well-documented defect reports that include reproducible issues and appropriate workarounds.

• Design comprehensive manual test cases based on test design and product knowledge.

• Confirm that manual test cases thoroughly evaluate product functionality while utilizing minimal resources.

• Implement test automation as applicable and available.

• Conduct end-to-end functional tests and utilize automated tests created by others.

• Offer input and feedback on requirements informed by product knowledge and customer feedback.

• Develop work plans and effectively communicate goals, plans, designs, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Analyze, compare, and prioritize various approaches.

• Play a role in the end-to-end product testing strategy, emphasizing the customer experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• A detail-oriented and process-driven mindset.

• Exceptional collaboration, problem-solving, and cross-team communication abilities.

• Background in quality assurance, business analysis, software testing, or technical support.

• Practical experience with relevant technologies.

• Understanding of all stages of the software development life cycle.

• Familiarity with software/hardware testing principles, including both positive and negative testing.

• Independent and proactive mindset with a capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
