QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Design, execute, and maintain functional, comprehensive, and regression test cases.

• Validate end-to-end flows with surrounding applications.

• Test REST APIs, including authentication, contracts, responses, errors, and business rules.

• Validate file upload, download, and verification processes, particularly for templates and Excel files.

• Execute tests on interdependent modules, scenarios, simulations, and system state changes.

• Perform SQL validations to confirm data integrity, persistence, and consistency.

• Participate in functional refinement and acceptance criteria reviews.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to analyze root causes of bugs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, or related fields.

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in QA Automation.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in test automation using Python or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Test Automation tools such as Karate DSL, Java, Playwright with TypeScript, etc.

• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub and GitActions.

• Pipeline setup and test execution experience.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6.

• [Preferred] Experience with microservices and/or APIs testing, using tools like Postman, Karate, or others.

• [Intermediate] Familiarity with Test Management tools like JIRA, QMetry.

• [Intermediate] Techniques for test case design.
