QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, uphold, and implement thorough manual test cases and scenarios for web, mobile, and API functionalities.

• Execute a variety of testing methods, including functional, regression, exploratory, UI, and cross-platform testing across major browsers, Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.

• Test REST APIs utilizing tools such as Postman and verify backend data using fundamental SQL queries.

• Document detailed, reproducible bugs and monitor defects from initial documentation to resolution using platforms like ClickUp.

• Confirm fixes and conduct re-testing to ensure that issues have been addressed.

• Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and QA colleagues in an Agile/Scrum setting to evaluate requirements, address challenges, and guarantee product quality.

• Engage in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

• Actively identify risks, edge cases, and opportunities for enhancing processes. Provide clear and timely feedback to development teams and contribute to QA documentation, including test plans and checklists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance for web and mobile platforms.

• Strong comprehension of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and fundamental QA methodologies, including manual, regression, and risk-based testing.

• Expertise with QA and project management tools such as Postman, DBeaver, and ClickUp or similar applications.

• Practical experience with cross-platform and cross-browser testing, API testing, and writing basic SQL queries.

• Exceptional attention to detail, robust problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.

• A personal computer with stable internet capable of efficiently running these development tools and applications.

• Availability to work 4–5 hours during EST to collaborate with the US team.
