QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing for web and mobile applications to verify functionality, usability, and performance.

• Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Playwright.

• Continuously enhance test automation frameworks to boost coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

• Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define and refine testing scenarios.

• Develop and uphold clear, comprehensive test cases and documentation.

• Execute API testing and validate backend services.

• Engage in test planning, strategy formulation, and estimation activities.

• Perform system, integration, performance, and stress testing.

• Track and manage bugs using Jira, ensuring clear reporting and follow-up.

• Contribute to the enhancement of overall QA processes and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.

• Strong proficiency in testing mobile and web applications.

• Expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript (preferred for Playwright).

• Practical experience with Playwright for test automation.

• Familiarity with API testing (preferably using tools like Rest Assured or equivalent).

• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools.

• Experience with Jira or similar test/bug tracking systems.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
