QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Test Planning & Case Design: Develop detailed and well-structured test cases along with comprehensive test suites that encompass functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios for our AI-driven features.

• End-to-End Testing: Assume responsibility for manual testing of our web-based clinical dashboards, ensuring that complex workflows (such as audio recording and AI note generation) operate seamlessly.

• Automation Growth: Create and implement automated test scripts for essential paths using contemporary frameworks (e.g., Cypress or Playwright) to enhance manual testing efforts.

• API Validation: Evaluate our backend integrations and data states to guarantee smooth communication between our frontend and backend applications.

• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure that AI-generated clinical notes align with specified compliance standards.

• Bug Lifecycle Management: Detect, document, and monitor bugs until resolution, working closely with developers to ensure prompt fixes without introducing regressions.

• Release Readiness: Conduct smoke and sanity testing for regular feature releases to uphold a stable production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1.5–2+ years of professional QA experience, ideally within a startup or product-led setting.

• Manual Testing Expert: Possess a keen eye for UI/UX inconsistencies and a "break-it" mentality for intricate logical workflows.

• Automation Foundations: Practical experience or a solid understanding of automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.

• Technical Literacy: Familiarity with Chrome DevTools, Postman for API testing, and a basic understanding of SQL/database validation.

• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where requirements may shift as we enhance our AI models.

• Clear Communication: Skill in writing concise, reproducible bug reports and clear test plans.
