QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage both manual and automated testing for CAD / PLM web applications.

• Assess functionality across frontend user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data layers.

• Test intricate workflows that are characteristic of CAD / PLM domains, such as configuration, data integrity, performance, and integration points.

• Contribute to and enhance test automation frameworks, both at the UI and API levels.

• Collaborate closely with engineers specializing in TypeScript and Node.js (NestJS / Express).

• Test frontend applications developed with Angular and contemporary UI patterns.

• Validate backend logic utilizing ORMs like TypeORM, Prisma, or similar, along with SQL databases.

• Support testing in cloud-native and containerized environments, including Kubernetes.

• Engage in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that tests are run as part of the build and deployment workflows.

• Conduct regression, integration, exploratory, and acceptance testing.

• Actively engage in defect triage, root cause analysis, and discussions focused on quality improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer in a complex software environment.

• Practical experience testing web-based SaaS platforms.

• Strong expertise in test automation (UI and/or API).

• Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Experience in testing Node.js backend services (NestJS, Express, or similar frameworks).

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks, particularly Angular.

• Experience in testing systems using ORMs (TypeORM, Prisma, or similar) and SQL-based databases.

• Understanding of Agile / Scrum development methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
