QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold automated testing protocols using Python with support from senior team members.

• Contribute to the development of test cases for APIs, AI service providers, backend systems, and comprehensive end-to-end tests.

• Assist in the integration of automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Aid in the upkeep and enhancement of current test frameworks.

• Execute both manual and automated tests to verify new functionalities and rectify issues.

• Clearly and effectively identify, document, and track bugs.

• Engage in code reviews and discussions related to testing.

• Acquire and implement best practices in software quality assurance and testing.

• Support efforts to enhance test coverage through the utilization of AI tools.

• Assist in experimenting with AI-driven test generation and analysis tools.

• Learn how AI can be leveraged to pinpoint gaps in test coverage and boost efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members.

• Proactively learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.

• Inquire, seek feedback, and continuously enhance your skill set.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Fundamental knowledge of Python programming.

• Understanding of software testing principles (either manual or automated).

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

• Strong eagerness to learn and advance in QA automation.

• Exposure to testing tools such as PyTest, Selenium, or Playwright (Nice to Have).

• Basic comprehension of APIs (REST) and methods to test them (Nice to Have).

• Basic experience with Linux (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with CI/CD principles (Nice to Have).

• Interest in AI/ML or curiosity about the application of AI in testing (Nice to Have).
