QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of quality assurance for both web and mobile frontends.

• Approach testing from the perspective of a real user with financial stakes — seek out edge cases, broken processes, and UX challenges.

• Develop and maintain automated testing suites for the web application using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

• Evaluate DeFi-specific processes including wallet connections, approvals, transaction types, transaction states, and network switching.

• Create comprehensive and actionable bug reports complete with reproduction steps that engineers can easily utilize.

• Utilize browser developer tools and logs to delve into issues that go beyond superficial symptoms.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to confirm fixes, detect regressions, and validate releases prior to deployment.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of CI-integrated testing pipelines over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in testing web and mobile applications.

• Knowledgeable about DeFi fundamentals including wallets, approvals, transaction types, on-chain vs off-chain processes, network switching, and transaction states.

• Ability to assess a trading interface and instinctively identify potential edge cases.

• Experience with automated testing for web applications (Cypress, Playwright, or similar), including writing and maintaining test suites, not solely manual testing.

• Proficient in reading logs, utilizing browser developer tools, and submitting actionable bug reports for engineers.
