QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete testing lifecycle, starting from the initial requirements all the way to production release.

• Conduct thorough manual, regression, and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and enhance user experience.

• Create, maintain, and expand automated test suites to facilitate a continuous integration environment.

• Execute API testing to guarantee smooth communication between internal services and third-party integrations.

• Review GitHub pull requests to comprehend code modifications and identify possible areas of impact.

• Document concise, actionable bug reports and collaborate effectively with developers to address issues.

• Proactively identify process enhancements and advocate for quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in software QA or Test Engineering, particularly in SaaS environments.

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual, regression, and end-to-end testing for web applications.

• Practical experience in writing automated tests (Playwright is preferred; Cypress or Selenium are acceptable alternatives).

• Strong skills in API testing.

• Capability to read code and navigate GitHub to grasp technical changes.

• Outstanding written communication skills with a focus on detailed bug reporting.

• Proven ability to work independently and prioritize testing tasks without constant oversight.

• Experience in an Agile environment with regular deployment cycles.

• Nice-to-haves: Proficiency with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and feature flag testing methodologies; experience in Ruby on Rails environments; domain expertise in logistics, warehouse management (WMS), supply chain, or ERP software; experience testing intricate products with multiple third-party integrations; knowledge of AI tools such as Claude Code.
