QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Review requirement specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback and to understand deliverables to be tested.

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases while ensuring their maintenance.

• Conduct thorough testing as assigned.

• Identify, record, and document defects thoroughly while tracking them.

• Design, develop, and execute low complexity automation scripts.

• Adhere to Greenslate quality standards.

• Attend Scrum ceremonies and other meetings as necessary.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve identified defects.

• Provide accurate estimations for tasks.

• Identify risks during testing and escalate them appropriately.

• Recognize areas where automation can be effectively utilized.

• Stay updated with new testing tools and testing strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in System Engineering or a related field and/or ISTQB Foundation certification.

• Fundamental understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Basic knowledge of functional, regression, exploratory, UI, and usability testing.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks.

• Experience with Java, C#, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, NUnit, SpecFlow, Playwright, SQL, or Jenkins is advantageous.
