This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and uphold test plans and test cases derived from product specifications and acceptance criteria for both web and mobile platforms.
• Perform manual functional, exploratory, and regression testing across web and mobile environments, ensuring compatibility across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and devices using real iOS and Android hardware.
• Take responsibility for release verification by conducting smoke and sanity checks and providing QA approval prior to product launches.
• Compose clear and reproducible bug reports, assess severity and priority, and collaborate with engineers to ensure defects are resolved.
• Enhance and broaden Epic's automated testing framework by extending UI/end-to-end and API coverage, adapting as features evolve.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout feature development to identify issues proactively.
• Monitor and report on QA coverage, defect trends, and signals of release quality.
• Minimum of 3 years in a QA or software testing position, encompassing hands-on manual test planning and execution.
• Proven experience testing native mobile applications on actual iOS and Android devices.
• Proficient in structured bug reporting and defect prioritization within an issue tracking system (e.g., Jira).
• Experience in creating automated UI/end-to-end and API tests using a modern framework (e.g., Playwright or Cypress).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
