QA Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee project test planning, development, execution, release test planning, and various service activities within the Quality Assurance team.

• Implement automated testing utilizing C# /JAVA and/or relevant technologies.

• Create and validate automation test cases to establish a system that supports automation across unit, functional, performance, security, and integration testing.

• Operate independently as well as collaboratively within the delivery team.

• Develop dashboards for displaying test results, metrics, and other pertinent testing information for relevant project stakeholders.

• Ensure quality processes are maintained throughout all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with unique instructions that may vary from one project to another.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is mandatory.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automation is essential.

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies for public, customer-facing web applications, including cross-browser and cross-device testing.

• Robust manual back-end testing experience, including database, data feeds, and scheduled jobs/batch processing.

• Familiarity with development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, KanBan).

• Experience in writing test cases using Katalon, Junit, or Selenium.

• Practical knowledge of Postman and Postman automation for API testing.

• Ability to formulate basic SQL queries for data validation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze complex system requirements and define test cases.

• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle, including the various stages of testing.

• Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.

• Experience in performance, security, and/or accessibility testing is advantageous.
