QA Engineer

📋 Description

• Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications across various platforms and devices.

• Create, implement, and uphold test cases derived from requirements, user stories, or exploratory analysis.

• Carry out exploratory testing when comprehensive documentation is not available.

• Detect, document, and monitor bugs with detailed reproduction steps.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality.

• Verify fixes and conduct regression testing as necessary.

• Confirm usability, performance, and compatibility across different browsers and devices.

• Engage in release testing and validate production outcomes.

• Continuously enhance testing processes and increase coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in manual QA/testing.

• Extensive experience in testing web and mobile applications.

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies and testing processes.

• Proficiency with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

• Capability to write clear and succinct test cases and bug reports.

• Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation purposes.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
