QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Develop test planning, coverage, and estimation within a small to medium-sized team.

• Work closely with the development team to comprehend software requirements and create thorough test scenarios and cases.

• Conduct manual testing, analyze outcomes, identify and report defects, and deliver precise and detailed documentation.

• Create, maintain, and execute basic automated test scripts to enhance current automation efforts and increase test coverage.

• Spot opportunities to enhance testing processes, broaden test coverage, and boost overall QA efficiency.

• Collaborate with software engineers and other team members to guarantee software quality and stability throughout the development lifecycle.

• Keep current with relevant testing tools, techniques, and best practices in automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.

• Over 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, primarily concentrating on manual testing.

• Proficiency in designing, writing, and executing test cases, scenarios, and plans.

• Basic experience with test automation, including crafting and maintaining automated test scripts using Java, Python, TypeScript, or other programming languages.

• Familiarity with both front-end and back-end testing, including API testing.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience using Jira and test management tools such as Zephyr, Xray, TestRail, or similar platforms.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with software engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English.
