This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Guarantee product quality through direct functional testing, data validation, production troubleshooting, and lightweight test automation.
• Design and maintain software solutions across a diverse technology stack.
• Validate web applications while identifying both functional and technical issues.
• Create and sustain end-to-end test specifications using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Examine frontend issues utilizing modern web application concepts and Next.js.
• Analyze Datadog logs and Real User Monitoring data to investigate production challenges.
• Oversee QA tickets and documentation, including estimates and test notes in Jira and Confluence.
• Conduct independent investigations into issues, comprehend dependencies, review historical context, and make well-informed QA decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, developers, Product Owners, and product stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Solid QA fundamentals with experience in validating web applications and identifying both functional and technical issues.
• Proficient in SQL and T-SQL, capable of writing and interpreting queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Basic hands-on experience in test automation using Playwright and TypeScript, including the writing and maintenance of E2E test specifications.
• Understanding of modern web application concepts and Next.js, with the ability to trace application flows and troubleshoot frontend issues.
• Experience using Datadog for log analysis and Real User Monitoring (RUM) data to investigate production issues.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for ticket management, QA documentation, estimates, and test notes.
• Capacity to investigate issues independently, comprehend dependencies, assess historical context, and make informed QA decisions.
• Strong attention to detail along with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and proactive communication skills, able to present findings, blockers, risks, and questions without needing follow-up.
• Strong autonomy and judgment, capable of operating within established QA processes.
