QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and execution of automated testing solutions that align with product and quality specifications.

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues found in current test automation frameworks.

• Create automation features that fulfill specified requirements and user stories.

• Engage in code reviews to disseminate knowledge, encourage best practices, and uphold established quality standards.

• Conduct development-level testing for newly developed automation features and improvements.

• Work closely with R&D and development teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the systems being tested.

• Aid manual and exploratory testing teams in adopting and effectively utilizing test automation tools, including providing knowledge-sharing sessions or training.

• Investigate, assess, and suggest new automation tools and technologies to support the future of test automation at Clario.

• Contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of the test automation infrastructure necessary for dependable execution.

• Actively engage in team learning and the implementation of contemporary test automation techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• 1-3 years of practical experience with automated testing methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools, particularly Selenium WebDriver.

• Familiarity with automated API and database testing.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the integration of automated tests.

• Willingness to work with AI-assisted automation tools and frameworks.

• Experience in object-oriented and script-based software development.

• Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycles, testing processes, and test design methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across teams.
