QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Overseeing comprehensive testing of intricate back-end and cloud services operating on AWS, Docker, and, when necessary, VM configurations.

• Creating, writing, and modifying automation scripts for API and environment testing across both SaaS and on-premise implementations.

• Verifying integrations between CKEditor Cloud Services and associated components such as CKEditor 5 and Customer Portal.

• Conducting performance, stress, and regression tests on CKEditor ecosystem services.

• Collaborating with developers to replicate, diagnose, and resolve technical and integration challenges faced by customers.

• Actively identifying quality risks within the system and suggesting enhancements to test coverage, tools, and CI reliability.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in QA with practical automation experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong practical JavaScript competencies—comfortable with asynchronous code, working with HTTP clients, and modifying existing code.

• Practical experience in writing E2E tests using contemporary frameworks (Cypress or Playwright).

• Hands-on experience with API testing—proficient with tools like Postman, Bruno, or Insomnia, interpreting API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and crafting scripted API tests.

• Familiarity with Docker and Node.js—capable of running a service locally and debugging within a containerized environment.

• Solid understanding of modern web applications, including SPA, REST APIs, HTTP, JWT, and WebSockets.

• Experience in utilizing AI-driven tools (e.g., for test generation, edge case exploration, or task automation) to boost QA efficiency.

• Fluent in Polish with a good working proficiency in English (minimum B2+ level).

• A curious mindset and critical thinking—you ask questions, delve into issues, and don't settle for "it works on my machine."
