QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Responsible for overseeing comprehensive testing of intricate back-end and cloud services operating on AWS, Docker, and, when necessary, VM configurations.

• Crafting, writing, and modifying automation scripts for API and environment testing across both SaaS and on-premises implementations.

• Verifying integrations between CKEditor Cloud Services and related components such as CKEditor 5 and Customer Portal.

• Conducting performance, stress, and regression testing on services within the CKEditor ecosystem.

• Collaborating with developers to replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and integration challenges faced by customers.

• Actively identifying quality risks in the system and recommending enhancements to test coverage, tools, and CI reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in QA with practical automation experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong practical JavaScript capabilities - proficient with asynchronous code, working with HTTP clients, and modifying existing code.

• Practical experience in writing E2E tests using modern frameworks (Cypress or Playwright).

• Hands-on experience in API testing - skilled with tools like Postman/Bruno/Insomnia, comprehending API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and developing scripted API tests.

• Familiarity with Docker and Node.js - able to run a service locally and debug within a containerized environment.

• Solid understanding of contemporary web applications - SPA, REST APIs, HTTP, JWT, and WebSockets.

• Experience utilizing AI-driven tools (e.g., for test generation, edge case analysis, or task automation) to improve QA effectiveness.

• Proficient in Polish and possess a good command of English (minimum B2+ level).

• Demonstrates curiosity and critical thinking - asks questions, investigates issues, and does not settle for 'it works on my machine.'
