This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Conduct testing on web and mobile applications utilizing all pertinent methods, such as automated regression suites, API validation, and exploratory testing.
• Execute risk-based exploratory testing to identify critical defects that extend beyond scripted checks, ensuring that testing efforts are focused where they can create the most significant impact.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Playwright and Python.
• Assess product features and business/technical requirements to create high-value test scenarios and automation scripts.
• Carry out API testing with Postman, including the execution of automated API tests.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams in an Agile/Scrum setting.
• Assist in CI/CD testing processes (GitLab CI).
• Document and track defects in Jira and maintain records in Confluence.
• Engage in the utilization and daily application of AI-assisted testing tools (for instance, for test creation and defect analysis).
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes and share insights with the team.
• Over 4 years of experience in software testing for commercial projects.
• Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach.
• Exceptional critical thinking abilities and the capacity to articulate testing logic clearly.
• Practical experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Proficient in using Playwright and Python for test automation.
• Robust experience in API testing with Postman (both manual and automated).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI).
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently on designated tasks.
• Fluent in English communication (both spoken and written).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Junie).
• Experience testing mobile applications on actual devices or through device farms.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in performance and/or security testing.
• Exposure to AI/ML testing tools (such as intelligent test creation).
