QA Coordinator, Furniture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate inspection reports within the Qarma application to ensure products adhere to quality and compliance standards before shipment.

• Organize initial production inspections in collaboration with the warehouse team, including the staging and assembly of necessary components.

• Carry out incoming inspections of initial production parts and record findings in Qarma.

• Relay quality or compliance issues to factories and internal stakeholders.

• Conduct preliminary claims investigations by examining stock and working with the Houston team to determine root causes.

• Collaborate with internal teams and global suppliers to execute corrective actions.

• Manage the quarantine of defective products as needed.

• Confirm product conformance post-corrective actions.

• Analyze structural testing and compliance reports for furniture items.

• Partner with Qarma to improve the system to meet the changing needs of the business and factories.

• Recognize opportunities for quality improvement and suggest process enhancements.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of quality control experience within the furniture sector.

• Familiarity with testing standards and regulatory compliance.

• Post-secondary education in a pertinent field.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Clear and effective communication abilities.

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience with SAP and Qarma is considered an asset.

• Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
