QA Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute functional testing on applications and systems.

• Design comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios based on specified requirements.

• Create and document detailed test cases.

• Specify the necessary steps to perform tests.

• Carry out manual testing according to releases provided by the development team.

• Verify both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Detect, report, and monitor bugs and discrepancies identified during validation.

• Perform retesting to confirm that reported issues have been addressed.

• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to guarantee quality in delivery.

• Grasp business processes and rules to foresee risks and pinpoint improvement opportunities.

• Ensure that all tasks are completed within set deadlines.

• Contribute to the enhancement of quality processes and ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in software functional testing.

• Experienced in creating and executing test cases.

• Capable of documenting test scenarios, evidence, and outcomes.

• Familiar with bug reporting and tracking mechanisms.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Preferred: experience with unit testing.

• Preferred: familiarity with automated testing.

• Preferred: prior experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or functional testing.

• Preferred: knowledge of test and bug management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar).

• Preferred: experience in Agile software development settings.

• Preferred: understanding of API testing.
