QA Consultant – Mid Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lebanon.

📋 Description

• Evaluate software functionality requirements, determine test cases, and test the product.

• Engage in test planning, create test cases/scripts, and perform tests.

• Document all identified issues and assist in their resolution.

• Support projects throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes design, development, testing, and production release.

• Isolate, reproduce, and track defects while verifying fixes.

• Update management on the progress of issue resolution.

• Utilize practical knowledge of multiple testing methodologies and implement various testing types, such as functional (system/integration), security/vulnerability, performance/load/stress, compliance/accessibility, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Assist in the design and requirements gathering for new products.

• Offer analysis and consulting support to development and support teams.

• Comply with the company's information security policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, with exposure to SAP.

• Experience in both manual and automation testing.

• Involvement throughout the entire SDLC, from requirements and design to validation and production release.

• Proficiency in reviewing functionality, identifying test scenarios, and executing structured tests.

• Experience in isolating defects, reproducing issues, tracking them to resolution, and confirming fixes.

• Familiarity with a wide range of testing types, including functional, integration, regression, UAT, security, performance, load, stress, compliance, and accessibility testing.

• Experience providing QA analysis and support to development and support teams.

• Knowledge of Agile testing environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Good knowledge of QA processes, tools, and testing methodologies.

• Ability to prepare test plans, test cases, test scripts, and supporting documentation.

• Competence in defect tracking and test case documentation.

• Practical experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong formal documentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively managing workload and priorities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Keen attention to detail and dedication to quality standards.

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, defect handling, and QA discipline.

• Ability to produce clear testing artifacts and supporting documentation.

• Effective communication and collaboration with both technical and business teams.

• Strong planning and organizational skills across testing activities.
