This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the development of automation frameworks, tools, and workflows to foster a more scalable and effective quality assurance strategy.
• Enhance meaningful automation coverage and improve signal quality within CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate across departments to integrate quality earlier in the development lifecycle.
• Increase build stability and release confidence through enhanced automation, tools, and processes.
• Utilize data to pinpoint gaps, minimize inefficiencies, and bolster software reliability.
• Assess contemporary QA tools, including AI-enhanced workflows, and experiment with practical new strategies.
• Guide, develop, and mentor a team of SDETs and QA engineers.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, SDET, or quality engineering roles.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineers, including coaching and performance evaluation.
• Strong hands-on technical expertise with the ability to engage deeply as required.
• Proven experience in promoting the adoption of scalable automation practices.
• Experience in building or scaling automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Proficient programming skills, ideally in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience in integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Sound judgment in selecting between manual and automated testing methods.
• Experience in enhancing tools or workflows to increase the effectiveness of Engineering and QA teams.
• Strong collaborative skills across Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and QA teams.
• A keen interest in modern tools and AI-assisted workflows, with practical insights into their value addition.
