This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test harnesses for .NET solutions, encompassing end-to-end, integration, and API testing utilizing Playwright and related frameworks.
• Enhance and expand existing test suites, focusing on stability, reusability, and providing clear failure diagnostics through refactoring.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure applications are designed to be testable, incorporating hooks, identifiers, and contract patterns.
• Embed test execution within Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring appropriate parallelization, reporting, and quality gates are established.
• Execute and troubleshoot test workloads in Azure-hosted environments, including managing environment-specific configurations.
• Strengthen release confidence by linking test results to deployment choices and creating effective feedback loops.
• Explore and promote advanced automation techniques, including AI-assisted test generation and self-healing test strategies that enhance coverage and minimize maintenance efforts.
• Contribute to the development of QA standards, tools, and patterns that are utilized across various Aubrant projects.
• Engage in test planning, defect assessment, and quality evaluations alongside engineering and product teams.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience; proficiency in written and spoken English is required (minimum 85%).
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in QA automation, specifically in building and maintaining production-level test suites.
• Strong expertise in Playwright for end-to-end test automation, including page object patterns, fixtures, parallel execution, and stable selector creation.
• Competent in .NET test automation, which includes writing test code in C# and integrating it with .NET solutions; knowledge of frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest is advantageous.
• Practical experience in integrating tests into Azure DevOps pipelines, covering build/release setup, test parallelization, and results analysis.
• Familiarity with Azure for managing and troubleshooting test workloads within cloud-hosted environments.
• Strong capabilities in API testing, test data management, and crafting maintainable, well-structured test code.
• Experience with version control systems (Git), code review methodologies, and test-related quality checkpoints.
• A demonstrated enthusiasm for enhancing QA practices, including agentic automation, AI-assisted test generation, or self-healing test methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance, load, or security testing tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of TypeScript or other programming languages utilized in contemporary Playwright projects is a plus.
