QA Automation Engineer, Selenium, Cucumber

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in ensuring software quality across various country instances of the platform.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to identify bugs early in the software development lifecycle.

• Implement and continually enhance automated test coverage for a diverse array of testing scenarios.

• Work alongside country distribution and core domain squads to ensure that quality objectives are consistently met.

• Suggest and lead process improvements as part of the company's ongoing improvement strategy.

• Master the tools and components necessary for your responsibilities.

• Adhere to established development best practices.

• Create documentation and guidelines that foster a culture of 'quality as everyone's responsibility.'

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with automated testing.

• Proficiency in at least one software development language.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar testing technologies.

• Experience in building automated test suites for build/regression testing.

• Proficiency with CI tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar.

• Ability to take initiative and be proactive on a daily basis.

• Genuine passion for software quality and testing automation.

• Curiosity about new technologies and tools, with a willingness to embrace new challenges.

• Active involvement in decision-making processes, with a sincere interest in the insurtech/fintech sector.

• English proficiency: B2+ (Upper Intermediate minimum), required for daily international team communication.

• Availability to work in the Portugal timezone, regardless of physical location.
