QA Automation Engineer, PlayWright

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing scripts and frameworks utilizing Playwright.

• Oversee the entire QA cycle, including test case creation and management.

• Review Pull Requests (PRs) for Playwright automation tests generated by team members, offering constructive feedback to ensure quality, scalability, and compliance with best practices.

• Analyze Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and identify any gaps.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within teams.

• Lead - Develop and guide testing procedures to guarantee that testing is efficient, effective, and thorough.

• Lead - Evaluate existing testing frameworks and tools, enhancing both manual and automation capabilities.

• Design and create test scripts to cover areas such as database impact, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability in preparation for release.

• Develop and guide testing procedures to ensure testing is efficient, effective, and comprehensive.

• Report outstanding issues through established project management channels, in accordance with the project plan.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in QA with an emphasis on automation testing, particularly using Playwright.

• Familiarity with Cypress or similar tools to Playwright.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript for efficient test script writing and debugging.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar for building and managing automated pipelines.

• Experience in Mobile Testing on both Android and iOS devices.

• Experience in performing UI/UX Testing.

• Ability to convert requirements into comprehensive test cases.

• Knowledge of frontend technologies.
