QA Automation Engineer, .NET Core 6, Desktop, Katalon

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test suites using Katalon Studio or equivalent tools (Selenium, TestComplete, etc.), ensuring software quality.

• Test Case Design: Create and document test cases for desktop applications developed in .NET Core (WinForms or WPF).

• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins, including nightly and build-triggered executions.

• Test Execution: Conduct smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests across various environments (development, QA, and pre-production), ensuring stability in releases.

• Defect Management: Identify, document, and report defects while closely collaborating with the development team for resolution.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside technical teams to identify improvements and ensure continuous application quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, preferably in desktop application environments, with a focus on quality and automation.

• Proven experience with automation tools such as Katalon Studio (preferably) or equivalent frameworks like Selenium WebDriver.

• Practical knowledge of test automation for heavy client applications (desktop).

• Experience working with Azure (job configuration, pipelines, and triggers). Additional knowledge in Jenkins is a plus.

• Basic understanding of .NET Core 6, including log reading and comprehension of legacy architectures.

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle databases.

• Ability to work in a team and effective communication with development and QA teams.
