QA Automation Engineer (Mid-Level) – Financial Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Serve as a QA Automation Engineer within the Payments sector, specifically concentrating on the PIX product.

• Create and sustain test automation for Web, Mobile, and APIs.

• Establish and refine test strategies to enhance coverage, efficiency, and the quality of deliverables.

• Assist developers, QAs, and QA Leads in advocating for best practices in Quality Engineering.

• Spot opportunities to enhance processes, tools, frameworks, and testing workflows.

• Engage in defining and monitoring quality metrics and indicators.

• Play a role in shaping the test architecture for intricate solutions and integrations.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to foster a culture of quality from the outset of development (Shift Left and DevSecOps).

• Assess and recommend new tools, technologies, and practices designed to elevate software quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in test automation using Python.

• Familiarity with BDD (Behave).

• Experience in Web automation (Selenium) and Mobile automation (Appium).

• API testing expertise using Requests and tools such as Postman or Insomnia.

• Understanding of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka).

• Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps (Pipelines), and Azure Test Plans.

• Acquainted with Java 8+.

• Experience with Kobiton (Device Farm).
