QA Automation Engineer – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create test cases for Web, API, and Mobile (Android and iOS) applications;

• Perform functional and automated testing to guarantee the quality of deliverables;

• Design, implement, and sustain test automation scripts with an emphasis on scalability, efficiency, and increasing test coverage;

• Detect, record, and monitor defects, blockers, and bugs utilizing management tools;

• Aid in continuous integration by incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines;

• Engage in the analysis, planning, and execution of the testing strategy, ensuring adherence to quality best practices in agile settings and cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in test automation utilizing Java;

• Understanding of Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Maven, and IntelliJ;

• Experience in testing Web, API, and Mobile (Android and iOS) applications, including the utilization of emulators;

• Familiarity with tools such as Postman or Insomnia, Jenkins, and OpenText;

• Background in agile methodologies and continuous integration (CI/CD) processes;

• Capability to establish and implement functional testing strategies for Web, API, and Mobile applications;

• Experience with bug tracking and issue management tools;

• Advantageous: experience within the retail sector.
