This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Establish the written criteria that define what it means for an environment to achieve QA certification.
• Develop a distinct pass/fail threshold for certifying environments across services, integrations, and platform-level workflows.
• Clarify the meaning of integration coverage within a distributed service architecture.
• Design templates for necessary evidence, test results, service readiness, coverage expectations, and approval processes.
• Define terminology, ownership, and expectations to ensure alignment among engineering, QA, and leadership teams.
• Evaluate the current landscape of automated acceptance and integration testing across numerous services.
• Determine which services possess adequate automated coverage and which have coverage gaps.
• Gain insights into existing test harnesses, Jenkins orchestration, service-level acceptance tests, and team-specific testing methodologies.
• Specify how automated tests should be triggered, monitored, reported, and utilized as certification evidence.
• Assist in designing a strategy for executing acceptance and integration tests in a more centralized, consistent, and reliable manner.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address missing or outdated test automation.
• Define how test tenants, test data, and end-to-end processes should be engaged during certification.
• Ensure that the certification process validates not only individual services but also significant cross-service interactions.
• Create or direct the development of coverage matrix templates that outline which services, workflows, tenants, and integrations are being tested.
• Help pinpoint high-risk integration areas and prioritize automation efforts accordingly.
• Act as the technical authority for the QA certification standard.
• Collaborate closely with QA, engineering, infrastructure, and delivery stakeholders to foster consensus on the certification strategy.
• Assist teams in understanding the artifacts required and the evidence necessary for sign-off.
• Lead technical discussions regarding testing gaps, automation feasibility, and certification risks.
• Facilitate cross-team adoption of the standard while avoiding bureaucratic processes.
• Help transition from fragmented testing practices to a cohesive certification program.
• Produce clear documentation for QA certification workflows, necessary artifacts, evidence templates, coverage expectations, and escalation procedures.
• Define procedures for addressing missed testing windows, incomplete coverage, or failed certification checks.
• Contribute to building a foundation for compliance tracking across services and teams.
• Support leadership sign-off by clearly presenting risks, gaps, and readiness.
• Contribute to a repeatable process that minimizes manual coordination and enhances stakeholder confidence in platform readiness.
• Over 7 years of experience in QA automation, quality engineering, test architecture, SDET leadership, or comparable roles.
• Extensive experience in defining QA automation strategies for complex software platforms.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, service-oriented architectures, or large enterprise platforms.
• Practical experience in automated acceptance testing, integration testing, API testing, and CI/CD test execution.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python-based test automation environments.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD orchestration tools.
• Experience with custom test harnesses, legacy test frameworks, or varied testing stacks.
• Proven ability in creating test coverage matrices, evidence templates, quality gates, and release certification criteria.
• Experience collaborating across multiple engineering teams and unifying diverse groups around a common standard.
• Experience in enterprise delivery, platform certification, SAP-adjacent delivery, or large-scale environment validation is a plus.
• Experience leading QA transformation, test standardization, or automation maturity initiatives is a significant plus.
