QA Automation Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks.

• Create robust, reusable, and scalable test scripts for UI and API testing.

• Ensure early detection of defects and high test coverage across all releases.

• Participate in planning meetings to devise a testing strategy based on requirements.

• Test bug fixes and new features prior to release.

• Serve as a reference point for a team of passionate software engineers.

• Collaborate with other QA professionals and Software Developers to create solutions.

• Test API endpoints using an API tool such as Postman.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of overall experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNg, and Cucumber.

• Primary Skills: C#, Python.

• Proficient in Google Chrome development tools.

• End-to-end API testing experience – using Postman or SOAP UI.

• Database testing (SQL, mySQL, or Postgres).

• Experience with AI-assisted tools (such as Copilot or other AI-based test generators, script optimizers) for: analyzing business requirements, user stories, and workflows; auto-generating or accelerating the creation of automation test scripts; optimizing test scripts and reducing maintenance effort.

• Secondary Skills: Problem-solving and system debugging.

• Understanding of microservices, containers, AKS/Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

• Performance Testing: Knowledge of tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban.

• Interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate within a team environment with a diverse range of individuals.
