This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and execute automated workflows for onboarding partners, updating contacts, renewing services, and managing data lifecycles.
• Develop self-service tools that enable operations teams to carry out bulk data tasks.
• Create automated notifications for outdated data, missing details, and expiring service agreements.
• Construct ETL pipelines that synchronize partner information across various internal systems.
• Automate the migration of legacy data into the centralized platform.
• Create reconciliation scripts to identify inconsistencies and uphold data integrity.
• Develop tools for retrieving pertinent partner contacts during network incidents.
• Establish automated escalation and outreach workflows that are triggered by network events.
• Design runbook automation for repetitive operational activities.
• Build dashboards that monitor data quality, freshness, and platform usage.
• Implement automated health checks and audit scripts.
• Generate scheduled reports for leadership regarding automation ROI and metrics on data integrity.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, data engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong expertise in Python for scripting, API integrations, and data manipulation.
• Experience in building and utilizing REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and concepts related to data pipelines/ETL.
• Experience with job scheduling and orchestration tools such as Airflow or cron.
• Knowledge of data quality principles, including validation, deduplication, and reconciliation.
• Comfortable working with large datasets from multiple source systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
• Preferred: Experience with PHP or Hack.
• Preferred: Familiarity with graph databases or relationship/entity management systems.
• Preferred: Experience with CRM, MDM, or vendor management platforms.
• Preferred: Understanding of network infrastructure concepts such as ISPs, peering, colocation, and Points of Presence.
• Preferred: Experience with Thrift or similar RPC frameworks.
• Preferred: Background in telecom, network operations, or infrastructure services.
• Preferred: Experience in automating processes within a large-scale enterprise environment.
