This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Employ UFT (previously known as QTP) to create and sustain automated UI tests for web, desktop, and supported mobile applications.

• Deliver enterprise-wide assistance for performance testing and test automation efforts across various teams and projects.

• Utilize LoadRunner for performance and load testing alongside UFT for functional and regression test automation.

• Design, maintain, and execute automated functional and regression test suites that encompass critical business processes.

• Incorporate UFT-based automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Assess and recommend performance testing tools, technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.

• Carry out all stages of the performance testing lifecycle, which includes requirements analysis, test planning, workload modeling, script development, test execution, results analysis, bottleneck identification, defect management, and performance reporting.

• Formulate, implement, and uphold performance testing policies, frameworks, standards, and best practices.

• Examine performance test outcomes to pinpoint bottlenecks, scalability challenges, resource limitations, and performance-related defects.

• Work collaboratively with development and infrastructure teams to facilitate issue resolution.

• Design, produce, update, and maintain training resources for performance testing and automation.

• Offer coaching, mentoring, and technical training to cross-functional teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience with LoadRunner Enterprise, developing and executing performance and load testing solutions for intricate enterprise applications.

• More than 5 years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Unified Functional Testing (UFT).

• Proficient in formal software testing methodologies for complex, enterprise-level applications.

• Extensive experience in testing software applications, including identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects.

• Proven experience collaborating with developers, business stakeholders, and end users to investigate and resolve issues.

• Skilled in defect tracking and test management tools, such as Rational and Mercury.

• Experience in developing and maintaining software quality documentation, including requirements specifications, test plans, test cases, test scripts, test procedures, and test execution and results reports.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Must be a US citizen or possess permanent residency status (Green Card).

• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance is required.

• Must have resided in the United States for the past 5 years.

• Cannot have traveled outside the United States for more than 6 months in the last 5 years; military service is excluded.

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
