QA Automation, DevOps Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and sustain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright) to ensure comprehensive coverage of essential product workflows.

• Convert product specifications and user journeys into scalable, automated test cases.

• Identify deficiencies in existing QA processes and take proactive steps to enhance testing coverage and reliability.

• Work closely with Product Designers and Engineers to guarantee that features meet acceptance criteria and uphold quality standards.

• Manage and refine the testing lifecycle within the development process, thereby minimizing reliance on manual QA.

• Assist in the management and enhancement of the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless and dependable deployments.

• Observe application performance and deployment stability, actively identifying and addressing issues.

• Create documentation for testing frameworks, processes, and best practices for internal teams.

• Monitor and report on testing coverage, bug trends, and deployment quality metrics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Located in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term commitment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong academic credentials with an impressive General Weighted Average.

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in a SaaS or fast-paced software development setting.

• High proficiency in automated testing frameworks (preferably Playwright).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).

• Ability to translate product requirements into technical test cases and effectively communicate issues to developers.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities across both frontend and backend systems.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in spotting gaps and inefficiencies.

• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
