This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Requirement analysis: collaborating with business analysts and developers to clarify product requirements and create precise test scenarios.
• Testing: conducting manual and automated tests to verify the quality of new developments, participating in the planning of test scenarios and cases, and utilizing test design methods.
• Reporting and defect tracking: preparing reports on identified defects, tracking their resolution, and overseeing the quality of implemented changes.
• Team communication: interacting with other team members for effective information exchange, participating in daily meetings, retrospectives, and other team gatherings.
• Documentation management: creating and updating testing documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Test automation: developing, configuring, and maintaining automated tests for key product functionalities, creating scripts for UI and API testing, and integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Over 3 years of experience in software testing with a primary focus on mobile applications.
• Practical experience in testing and requirement analysis to prevent defects in the early stages of development.
• Fundamental knowledge in testing:
• Proficiency in test development techniques to ensure complete coverage of specifications or product requirements.
• Experience in preparing testing documentation.
• Understanding of testing fundamentals, types, and levels of tests.
• Grasp of the role of testing in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and framework construction rules for automation (Java, Appium, REST Assured).
• Solid experience with simulators/emulators, real devices, and device farms.
• Familiarity with debugging tools such as Charles Proxy or Proxyman.
• Extensive experience with Postman and Swagger for API testing.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in log analysis and the ability to localize defects.
