This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for the capabilities and enhancements of the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to evaluate requirements, assess testability, and ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Assist in the implementation and utilization of the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test data, and relevant testing documentation.
• Identify, document, validate, and monitor software defects until they are resolved.
• Organize release readiness activities and execute deployment validation.
• Prepare and distribute release notes for platform deployments, enhancements, and updates.
• Monitor release schedules, change records, implementation documentation, and associated deployment activities.
• Support platform governance, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Assist with quality and operational reporting, metrics, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Communicate testing status, release readiness, risks, issues, and dependencies to relevant technical and program stakeholders.
• Engage in Agile delivery activities and collaborate across teams to facilitate timely, high-quality platform releases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, along with 3+ years of relevant professional experience; or 5+ years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, platform operations, release management, or a related IT discipline.
• Experience with ServiceNow and enterprise platform environments.
• Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, defect management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Experience in supporting functional, regression, integration, and/or user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile software delivery teams.
• Experience coordinating software or platform releases, including release readiness, deployment validation, change tracking, and supporting documentation.
• Excellent documentation skills with the capability to develop and maintain test cases, test plans, release documentation, and operational artifacts.
• Outstanding stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain client-required access as necessary.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required, with the capability to acquire a Public Trust.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is a plus.
• Additional hands-on experience with ServiceNow is advantageous.
• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) is a bonus.
• Knowledge of ITIL, Change Management, and Release Management is a plus.
• Familiarity with APIs and enterprise integrations is desirable.
• Understanding of basic scripting concepts is beneficial.
• Experience supporting enterprise or federal IT environments is a plus.
